Shape a brief for a modular test platform
Melbourne, Australia · Hybrid · 3 weeks
Turn three teams’ test requirements into one bounded supplier brief for a reusable electromechanical platform.
Normalise three compact packaging-equipment quotes and surface the questions that affect a fair comparison.

This is an example brief. Its company, dates, budget, assignment and progress illustrate a project; they do not represent available or commissioned work. Proposals cannot be submitted.
The brief
Three suppliers have quoted different configurations for the same packaging task. We need an independent comparison against twelve agreed requirements, with included options, exclusions and assumptions made explicit. The assignment covers the three supplied proposals, one clarification-question list and a one-hour decision workshop. Supplier contact, negotiation, commercial due diligence and a purchase recommendation based on unverified claims are outside scope.
A running start
Confirm the twelve requirements and identify where proposals use incompatible units or configurations.
Trace each entry to a proposal section and collect unanswered questions without filling gaps by assumption.
Walk through trade-offs and hand over the editable matrix with all unresolved questions visible.
To agree before starting
Confirm the deliverables, review checks and response window together so everyone knows what a successful handover looks like.
Record the requested change, its reason and its effect on deliverables, budget and timing. Both parties agree the revised scope in writing before the additional work begins.
